Alpha-TMS is modular, so you only pay for the functionality that is really needed. With our "Spot Rates" module, individual rates can be quickly requested from carriers if, for example, no contract rates are available.
Sometimes a rate is needed for an occasional or project-based transport for which rates have not yet been agreed. There is a temptation to request rates from only one known carrier because it is time-consuming to write or call several carriers. As a result, shippers do not get the best option in terms of price, speed and quality.
In alpha-TMS, shippers can decide which carriers get access to their freight environment. In turn, the carriers can indicate whether they are interested in spot requests, and for which routes or countries. With the Spot Rate module, spot requests can easily be issued to your carriers.
They receive a notification and can issue a transport price in alpha-TMS. All rates received are displayed in an overview. From this, the best offer can be selected. In combination with the Order module a transport order can be placed. The carrier receives immediate notification of the order, and other carriers automatically receive a rejection with feedback.
