Alpha-TMS is modular, so you only pay for the functionality you really need. With our "Order" module, transport orders can be quickly placed and then also managed. 

Why? 

Most customer systems (ERP) stop at sending an order via email or sometimes through an API, if at all possible. Shippers are also increasingly asked to book orders in carriers' systems. By working in other systems and via e-mail, shippers themselves lose track of outstanding actions and any additional costs. It is important for logistics staff to know what is going on, what is urgent, what has changed or what needs to be changed. To proactively manage all transport orders, they therefore need an overview in one system.  

How does it work?

With our "Order" module, you book all transport in one platform, and can manage it with a "management by expectation" philosophy. Carriers get access free of charge. If transporters like to work in their own portal, we provide a free API integration. So with alpha-TMS, you immediately get an unlimited number of APIs with carriers as a gift!

The order summary shows how the price is built up, and what additional costs a carrier has charged. On the timeline of each order, it is always transparent and traceable when what has been agreed or changed. Documents can also be uploaded, such as a CMR, Dangerous Goods Document or Proof of Delivery. 

Relevant users receive email notifications of changes. Because there is always consensus between the shipper and carrier, invoice control becomes very easy! Via a download of all order data or our personal dashboard module, performance can be easily analysed.
