Our transport management system is versatile and suitable for both small SMEs and large multinationals. In general, two different types of transport management systems are distinguished: one for carriers and one for shippers. Alpha-TMS is specifically designed for shippers, making it ideal for companies that mainly outsource their transport. The low threshold and accessibility of alpha-TMS make it possible for companies with only 100 shipments a year to benefit from the system's advantages. At the same time, alpha-TMS is also suitable for companies with multiple factories and/or warehouses spread across Europe, making it scalable for larger companies.

Alpha-TMS allows shippers to manage their entire transport operation through one integrated platform. Several modules are available within our transport management system, but at its core, shippers can enter their agreed transport rates into alpha-TMS and place and manage orders from there. In addition, the system supports individual or project requests, planning loading docks, and packaging management. Through a clear dashboard, users have insight into open actions, performance, expenses and savings potential. With our transport management software, we enable our customers to be their own Control Tower, giving them full control over their logistics processes and optimising efficiency.

Alpha-TMS is designed to work both without and with API/EDI connections. Without API/EDI connection, companies can be up and running within days, saying goodbye to spreadsheets, supplier portals and e-mails. In this configuration, orders have to be entered manually, similar to the way many shippers work with one or more carriers. On the other hand, Alpha-TMS can also be seamlessly linked to our customers' ERP/WMS via our customer order module. The advantage of this is that no manual order entry is required. Moreover, Alpha-TMS can analyse loaded orders via the customer order module and suggest combinations. This leads to additional cost savings and improvement in CO2 emissions for our customers. This flexibility allows our customers to choose the level of automation that best suits their needs and operational processes.

Yes, our customers have the freedom to choose which carriers they want to work with on the platform. Carriers get a free account as standard, which allows them to receive orders, suggest changes, request extra charges (such as waiting hours), upload documents, and so on. Moreover, we offer carriers a free API service, which allows them to seamlessly connect with our TMS. This approach ensures that you have complete transparency in your transport operation, with no hidden costs. You have control over your choice of carriers and can benefit from the free services we offer to ensure smooth cooperation.

Our non-integrated version, without linking to your own ERP/WMS, can often be operational within days. We support you in entering freight rates, train your team and make sure carriers are also aware of what is going to change. If a carrier wants an API connection, we can usually arrange this within a few days. In other words, your TMS can be operational within days. If you prefer to start linking to your own ERP/WMS immediately, for example due to a high volume of orders, this can usually take several weeks to months. The lead time depends mainly on the chosen setup, but often more importantly, the speed of your own IT team. We work closely with your team to ensure that the integration goes smoothly and your TMS is quickly operational according to your specific needs.

Our transport management software gives instant insight into which transport options you have for a shipment. So managing your entire transport from one environment feels like working with one logistics service provider. As logistics service providers often have many different specialisms, it often makes sense from a cost perspective to work with several logistics partners. The insight into rates enables you to send the right shipment with the right carrier every time. Sometimes you can save costs with your existing partners 10-20% simply by using them differently and optimally. But the standardised data coming from the TMS is also crucial to analyse and further optimise. In addition, a spot market can be used to request and book urgent shipments directly and easily, for example.

Alpha-TMS is designed to suit both SMEs and multinationals, with the flexibility to use the TMS both with and without system integration. Without integration, you can be up and running within days, thanks to alpha-TMS's user-friendly design. The platform is not affected by "legacy" effects, as it is a relatively new system. This allows us to quickly customise the application if needed. In terms of pricing, we are the most cost-effective choice on the market. We not only offer competitive rates, but also a price guarantee. Should another provider offer the same functionalities at a lower price, we will adjust our prices to continue offering the best value.

Our flexible approach in the TMS allows you to enable or disable specific modules and even certain functions within those modules as required. This ability not only keeps the application easy to use for customers who do not need all the functionality, but also allows us to align our prices with the modules required. So you only pay for what you actually need, giving you full control over your costs and allowing you to tailor the functionality of the system to your specific needs.

Of course, within alpha-TMS you have the ability to enter rates for multiple locations across Europe. Each user can set their personal filters to view specific rates or orders. The system works with billing addresses, specifying the relevant billing address for each order or request. This enables a streamlined and personalised experience for users in different locations with different needs, and the carrier always knows where the invoice should go or who should be contacted.

During the free trial, alpha-TMS is deployed fully functionally. The most ideal is to run the trial on a small part of the business. After about 2-3 months, you will get an accurate understanding of how alpha-TMS works, what the added value and savings are, and what (custom) adjustments, if any, are needed. It is only after this trial period, if required, that we sign a licence agreement. The trial period on our TMS is completely free and without obligation.

The cost of using alpha-TMS partly depends on the order volume. These costs are influenced by server capacity and the number of e-mails sent. Unlike many other providers, we do not charge a price per order, but use a price per order range. If the order range is exceeded or not reached after the end of the annual licence, you will receive a debit or credit invoice, respectively. Our first order range is priced at just 500 euros per year.
