Alpha-TMS is modular, so you only pay for the functionality you really need. What shippers always get from us as a gift is integrations with carriers. We do that free of charge, if transporters want it. For this, we use our "Xdock" module.
All industries are digitising more and more. More and more carriers have their own portal where shippers enter orders manually or digitally. Handy, because shippers then use this to do some of the work of the carriers' customer services. If there is a lot of transport, EDIs or APIs are built between shippers' and carriers' systems. The connection to each carrier has to be created and maintained by a shipper's IT department. Connections with (multiple) carriers cost time and money. This is a thing of the past when using alpha-TMS.
Carriers who want an API or EDI are connected to alpha-TMS by our experts quickly, securely and free of charge via our Xdock module. We are flexible in terms of data protocols and adapt to what works best for the carrier. After development and testing, the connection is put live. Order information, order statuses and delivery data can then be exchanged. What exactly is and is not possible depends on the carrier's system. The big advantage of working with alpha-TMS and the connections via XDock is that a shipper never has to think about APIs with carriers.
It is also possible to use Xdock stand-alone if no functionalities of alpha-TMS are required. A shipper can connect its system directly to Xdock and access any connected carrier with a single API connection.
